Amy Stanton, Office Manager, Amy Stanton graduated from the University of New Mexico with her BS in Psychology and an MA in Recreational Therapy.  After working for seven years in psychiatric facilities with children through adults, Amy earned her teaching license.  The birth of her daughter meant staying home for a couple of years.  However, it didn’t mean being any less busy.  Amy was President of MOMS Club, her homeowners’ association, and of the PTA at her daughter’s school.  All this work both paid and volunteer have led to a strong belief that children must have a supportive community in order to thrive.  This belief is what drives her work for Desert Montessori School.
